The Reproduction of Moss and Fern

The Reproduction of Moss

- The spore which falls in the right place
  will grow and form protonema.
- Then protonema grow to be mosses
- After maturity,a moss will produce a male
reproduction organ called antheridium in wich
there are male sex cells  (spermatozoid),
  and female sex organ
called archegonium in which there are
  eggs cells organs (ovum).
- Then spermatozoid fertilizes the ovum and
  grows to be zygote
- Zygote then grows to be sporogonium
- Sporogonium produces spores
- The process continues to form a life cycle

The Reproduction of Fern

- The sporangium in sorus will break,
  and the spore comes out
- The spore which falls in the right place
will grow and form a prothalium
- On the lower surface of prothalium,
there grows an antheridium which produces
spermatozoid and archegonium which produces ovum
- The spermatozoid fertilized the ovum
and grow to be a zygote
- The zygote grows to be a young fern
which has roots and a stem. The young fern
then develoves into a mature fern which
  produces spores again.
